Order Picker

Job Summary:
We are seeking an efficient and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our logistics operations in Chicago, Illinois. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. Your duties will include locating items in the warehouse using pick lists or RF scanners, gathering the correct products and quantities, and staging them for subsequent processing. This role requires a high degree of accuracy, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced distribution environment. A strong commitment to safety is essential, as you will be expected to follow all warehouse safety protocols and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required. Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick orders based on customer requirements using pick lists or RF scanners.
• Retrieve the correct items and quantities from warehouse locations.
• Inspect items for accuracy and quality.
• Stage picked items in the designated areas for packing and shipping.
• Maintain accurate records of picked items.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse picking role.
• Familiarity with RF scanners and inventory management systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and Lifting up to 45 lbs.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and the importance of PPE.
• Team player with good communication skills.
