Production Lead
Location: Buford, GA Pay: $20.00-$22.00/hr. BOE Type: Temp-to-hire Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and proactive Production Lead to oversee daily manufacturing operations within our dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, and hands-on experience with assembly lines and various tools. This role is vital in ensuring production efficiency, safety, and quality standards are consistently met. Responsibilities and Duties
Supervises production lines/cells and delivers results to meet production goals efficiently and safely Help with assembly tasks in production lines Adheres to production schedule, assigning and re-directing team when necessary to ensure lines are operating efficiently Mentor and motivate production team to optimize their performance and professional growth Communicates with others to convey information/plan effectively Be a role model for safety, quality, efficiency and company policy; disciplines team accordingly Supports Quality Departments adjustments/resolutions to quality issues Coordinates with warehouse to ensure smooth flow of production materials/inventory Train/monitor employees in Standard Operating Procedures Report daily production results and the results Wear proper PPE/maintain an organized work area (5S) and enforce rules for team members Perform other general production duties as needed Qualifications
2 years Production Lead experience in a manufacturing/production setting Strong organizational problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively coordinate people, processes and priorities to keep production running smoothly Decisive, safety-conscious, and skilled at mentoring and developing team members to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards Ability to anticipate challenges and act strategically makes you a trusted point of contact for both your team and management Knowledge of basic inventory practices/SAP Ability to prioritize production goals and balance production needs with supervisor responsibilities
