What you’ll be doing
Generate retail sales by using your passion for technology and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network. Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions. Position product insights and recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down solution. Close sales by using effective communication to fulfill customer needs with simple, intuitive tech solutions. Continuously develop through ongoing training and up-skill in merchandising and inventory operations. Potential to grow your customer base by placing outbound calls and sending texts to current Verizon customers interested in our products and services. Engage with the community outside the store to expand your loyal customer base (e.g., at off-site Verizon-sponsored events). Compensation and Benefits
We’re hiring immediately. This isn’t a typical entry-level retail position. You can earn $16.00 to $21.00 per hour in base pay, plus up to $16,000 per year in individual-based commissions if you hit all sales goals. Top performers may earn additional commissions, potentially totaling $65,000+ to $73,500+ annually. Compensation varies by geography, hours, and performance. You’ll need to have: High school diploma or GED One or more years of relevant experience (including military experience) Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule known four weeks in advance) Openness to pick up additional shifts, often during peak periods Fluency in Spanish required Even better if you have: Experience in a commission-based environment Demonstrated sales experience and customer solutions Customer service experience If you don’t meet every “even better” qualification, you’re encouraged to apply. You may be required to take an assessment (~19 minutes). If selected, a recruiter will share more about the role. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required. Work Location
