Job Summary Alfa Insurance- Jeff Delaney Agency, LLC is looking for a top‑notch sales producer. In this role you will be charged with growing your sales territory in both personal and commercial insurance. Responsibilities include identifying, cultivating, and nurturing prospects through the sales process. Our needs‑based approach helps people fill gaps in their current insurance programs and protect them from the unknown. Our agency provides the resources and training for you to operate at an industry‑leading level. Candidates should be self‑motivated, tenacious, goal‑oriented, independent and outgoing. Insurance experience is not a requirement but a background in business‑to‑business sales is a plus.
Responsibilities
Responsible for prospecting new business in multi‑line insurance, quoting and binding policies, handling customer inquiries, documenting requests and completing changes, accept and process premiums.
Service to customers includes strong communication skills on multiple platforms, conflict resolution skills, ability to quickly learn new computer programs and processes. Proficient at adapting to a constantly changing, extremely fast‑paced environment.
Provide support to the agent and service center staff as needed.
Make decisions to determine applicant insurability and placement using competent skills in binding and processing applications.
Ensure effective operation of the service center including but not limited to: reports, documentation, and mail distribution.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent required
Insurance Producer license
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and have an aptitude for learning new programs and procedures
Team player with a positive, professional attitude
