Valuation Analyst at Lord, Abbett & Co. LLC As a key member of the Pricing and Valuation function within the Global Fund Finance team, the Valuation Analyst is responsible for assisting in the accurate and timely valuation of investments and portfolio instruments held in Lord Abbett mutual funds, UCITs, institutional portfolios and supporting private asset valuations such as the Flexible Income Fund and Lord Abbett’s private credit funds. The analyst applies quality assurance processes established by the Pricing and Valuation group to ensure daily pricing of investments and portfolio instruments are valued in accordance with established valuation policies and procedures. Responsibilities

Review daily exception reports and market events and perform investment research. Proactively raise potential issues to senior members of the Pricing and Valuation group for review in advance of recommending fair value determinations. Work closely with investors, traders and analysts to research potential valuation issues. Support the ASC Topic 820 monthly fair value leveling reporting requirements. Work closely with third‑party vendors including pricing services and accounting agents. Prepare clear and concise information and other periodic reporting to both Lord Abbett’s Pricing and Valuation Councils and the Funds’ Audit Committee. Assist with a variety of ad hoc projects and work for both the Pricing and Valuation group and Global Fund Finance team. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. 3–7 years of experience in investment management at an audit firm or third‑party administrator in custody, fund accounting or income areas. Strong work ethic and commitment to critical end‑of‑day responsibilities. Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills. Collaborative, adaptable, and innovative in implementing operational efficiencies. Knowledge of derivatives and equity, fixed income, corporate and municipal securities. Valuation experience preferred. High level of proficiency with Bloomberg and Microsoft Excel; data analysis skills preferred. Compensation & Benefits

Annual base salary: $110,000 – $135,000 (estimate). Salary may differ. Discretionary bonus may be available.
