Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Configuration Management Plans and procedures
Manage and control engineering changes through Change Control Boards (CCBs)
Maintain and audit Bill of Materials (BOMs), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), and technical documentation
Manage configuration control databases and Product Data Management (PDM) systems (e.g., SolidWorks PDM, Windchill)
Ensure configuration records are accurate and up to date for customer delivery and regulatory compliance
Support product lifecycle activities from concept through sustainment
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and 3 years minimum related work experience
Proven track record of successfully meeting deliverables for environmental, shock and vibration requirements for industrial and/or military equipment
Comprehension of configuration control for engineering changes, requests for document updates and processing
Knowledge and ability with 3D CAD Software for modelling parts and assemblies as well as creating production/manufacturing ready drawings
Knowledge of ERP systems
Working ability with PLM/PDM systems such as Windchill, SolidWorks PDM Pro and/or similar tools
Must be flexible and have ability to interact with all levels in the organization
Must have a demonstrated ability to work within tight deadlines
Ability to obtain US Government Security Clearance
Desired Skills
Familiarity with Costpoint
Preferred experience with MIL-STD (SHOCK and VIBE), AWS Welding specifications, ASTM, ASME, ISO, MIL, FED and other standards
Capability to evaluate and support incoming inspection and evaluating components in Material Review Board (MRB) meetings
Ability to aid production floor assembly needs for fitment and/or design issues
Insight to manufacturing processes (stamping, bending, machining, pressing, forming, welding, brazing, soldering and more) to support procurement with advice and guidance to suppliers and vendors
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours per day)
Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and mouse
Occasional lifting of objects up to 25 pounds
Visual acuity to read detailed technical drawings and computer screens
Ability to move around in a manufacturing or lab environment
Compensation Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000 USD (Annually)
Please note, this is the expected compensation however, ESCO Maritime Solutions considers many factors in determining compensation prior to office, such as: responsibilities and scope of role, candidate's work experience and education related to position, applicable certifications or trainings, business and market conditions.
