Maintenance Assistant

Responsibilities
Heavy-duty cleaning, light grounds care, and maintenance of institutional equipment.
Keep records of work performed.
Coordinate work with other departments so as not to interrupt patient care or normal business functions.
Be on call for emergencies.
Perform or direct duties related to maintenance of grounds, parking lots, driveways, etc., including gardening, landscaping, clean‑up, snow removal (unless performed under service contract).
Qualifications
Maintenance experience preferred, not required.
H‑VAC experience preferred, not required.
High school graduate or graduate of a technical school.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals; knowledge of local codes, ordinances, and safety regulations.
