We are seeking a confident, high-performing Residential Sales Representative who is passionate about winning every opportunity, representing our Core Values, delivering exceptional service, and helping customers make the best decision for their property. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, consultative sales environment, takes ownership of the sales process, and drives results for the company with urgency, persistence, and professionalism.
Client Engagement & Consultative Selling
Embraces a consultative sales approach that builds trust, proactively addresses objections, and reinforces the role of a guide helping clients make the best decision to solve their problem
Differentiates and justifies professional market pricing by actively listening to client concerns and presenting a comprehensive solution that aligns with their objectives, specifications, and budget
Proactively asks for proposal acceptance and deposit during the initial consultation, aiming to close the contract on-site; if unable to secure commitment, clearly establishes the next step to keep the sales process moving forward
Sales Ownership & Execution
Leads the sales process with confidence and control—never a passive participant
Follows a structured, efficient approach to prioritize high-probability prospects and avoid low-value leads
Uses personalized, high-touch follow-up (calls, texts, voicemails) tailored to each prospect’s buying signals and objections
Takes full advantage of CRM system to take notes, set reminders, and manage appointments
Tracks, manages, and updates sales pipeline continuously
Clearly communicates deposit requirements, payment terms, contract terms and conditions, waivers and acknowledgements
Clearly explains crew scheduling process and current backlog, always setting realistic expectations
Persistence, Profitability & Accountability
Treats every lead with urgency, identifying ready-to-buy prospects and customizing follow-up to convert “not yet” into “yes”
Revisits objections with compelling stories, confident comparisons, and evidence of superior service and technical expertise
Actively seeks upsell and cross-sell opportunities—PHC, additional pruning, project bundling, and seasonal work
Collaborates with management and operations to structure creative, win-win deals while preserving profitability
Tracks all opportunities, manages follow-ups with discipline, and commits extra time (including evenings/weekends if needed) to deliver results and support the team
Key Traits & Competencies
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Strong sense of urgency, competitive drive, determination and an “I want to win” attitude
