Job Summary: Ainsworth Inc is seeking a highly skilled Account Executive focused on Building Automation Systems (BAS). The ideal candidate will have experience in BAS sales and service, along with extensive knowledge of mechanical and HVAC systems, and strategic multi-discipline, multi-trade sales. We are looking for an ambitious, results-driven individual committed to achieving growth targets and expanding market share. This role requires strong sales expertise and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers. Key Responsibilities: Conduct sales activities targeting contractor and consulting engineer relationships using professional selling skills Develop scope and write specifications Review bid requests, plans, and specifications to qualify projects for appropriate action Create value-engineered alternatives for clients' consideration Maintain bid lists and CRM entries accurately, providing timely updates to the sales funnel for reporting Manage contact lists for mechanical contractors, electrical contractors, and consulting engineers in CRM Handle bid requests and project queries Assist estimators by reviewing client proposals, system sketches, and point lists with attention to scope details Help prepare technical proposals and prequalification forms Qualifications: 3 to 5 years of experience in the Building Automation System industry Mechanical or electrical engineering degree preferred Technical or associate degree in a related field considered Experience in HVAC or electrical contracting sales is welcome Entry-level candidates may be considered on an individual basis Proven sales record with contractor and consulting engineer relationships Excellent communication and presentation skills Experience in scope development and specification writing Proficiency in MS Office, Vista, Windows 7, and other relevant software; Blue Beam is a plus Valid driver’s license Ainsworth offers a competitive salary, benefits, and retirement savings. Notes: Local candidates preferred; relocation costs are not covered Must be legally authorized to work in the United States No agencies or recruiters, please Pay range: $90,000 - $150,000
