SUMMARY The aftermarket and small fleet account manager is responsible for interacting with customers in person, over the phone, and/or email, and social media. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive account specific growth strategies.

Selling whole good Thermo King products (units, APUS, power management, heaters) in the designated territory to single operators and small fleets
Selling aftermarket items including but not limited to Thermo King parts, rental sales, trailer repair and other service work in the designated territory
Prospect for new accounts/referrals which includes compiling and updating list of prospective customers in all aftermarket sectors
Maintain and manage rental calendar and invoicing of all daily or short-term rentals in designated territory.
Take parts orders, print invoices and make sure payment is up to date
Deliver and return parts when available and makes sense with daily routes.
Plan territory coverage and call upon key accounts (current and prospective) regularly.

KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
Transportation refrigeration product knowledge is a plus
Previous parts and service sales experience

Basic computer skills
Exceptional telephone etiquette skills
Strong customer service skills
Strong organizational skills
ABILITIES
Apply good judgment in recognizing scope of authority
Able to read and interpret billing statements and work orders
Communicate clearly and effectively
