Inside Distribution Account Manager – Fortinet

Primary Responsibilities
Assist Distribution Account Managers in monitoring progress toward strategic goals.
Engage and support distributors and their Fortinet partners in activities facilitating partner enablement and revenue growth.
Establish and grow relationships at assigned distributor accounts.
Participate in weekly Distribution Team calls and provide insights on market intelligence, competition, product availability, lead times, and delivery scheduling.
Act as a point of contact to increase distributor and partner knowledge of Fortinet programs, products, support services, resources, and competitive differentiators.
Perform detailed, clear, and accurate data analysis and reporting as required.
Manage distributor inventory levels, pricing, and SKU catalog, ensuring accurate reporting.
Act as liaison between sales teams and distributors to build strong working relationships.
Travel up to 25%.
Required Skills
BS/BA degree in Business Administration or related field (or relevant professional experience).
Strong Excel skills; ability to manipulate data using pivot tables and complex formulas.
Strong PowerPoint skills; ability to develop content and present complex information to large audiences clearly and effectively.
Experience working with large distributors, preferably in the cybersecurity or networking field.
Ability to proactively assess customer needs and work autonomously.
Knowledge of Salesforce.com and Tableau is a plus.
Benefits & Compensation Fortinet offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), 11 paid holidays, vacation time, sick time, and a leave program. Wage ranges are based on market factors, with target earnings of $130,000 – $200,000 per year. Exact offers depend on knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geography. The role is eligible for commissions under the Sales Compensation Plan and participation in the equity program.
