Title: Data Entry Clerk
Work Location: Schaumburg, IL, United States
Shift: 1ST SHIFT / Primarily remote (4 days/week) with required in-office Tuesdays.
Payrate: XX18XX. on W2
Duration: 12 Months
Manages customer billing, vendor payments, AP/AR transactions, financial reporting, invoice entry, sales referral tracking, and general record-keeping. This position will help maintain billing data accuracy while supporting daily operational workflows.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Entering data and capturing new and updated information provided by customers and accounts. Preparing source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information. Entering customer and account data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information using a keyboard or optical scanner according to screen format. Maintaining data entry requirements by following established data program techniques and procedures. Verifying entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or re-entering data.
Qualifications: - 2-3 years of general office or data entry experience. - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). - Exposure to SAP, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus but not required. - Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. - Ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently.
