What is an Occupancy Verification? Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on their properties. The purpose of the property inspection is:

To verify property occupancy.

Complete most inspections in 5‑6 minutes.

Finish the inspection within 4 days after assignment.

Report general property conditions and determine occupancy based on industry standards.

Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments.

Complete a short form in the mobile app.

Spend extended periods driving while making numerous stops during the day in the assigned territory.

Pay and Hours The position is 1099. Each inspection has a flat rate that varies by county and volume. Although you are paid per inspection, you can earn the equivalent of $30‑$40 per hour. Depending on the county and whether it is urban or rural, you may complete between 20 and 500 inspections per month, working 2–30 hours per week.
