Job Overview
Atlanta Toyota, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is looking for an automotive Service Advisor to join our team and deliver extraordinary customer experiences.
Responsibilities
Serve as the liaison between the customer and the service department.
Schedule appointments and review service history.
Relay important information about vehicle maintenance and repairs to customers.
Provide accurate cost estimates for repairs and maintenance.
Qualifications & Competencies
High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior experience in a service department.
Valid Driver’s License.
Able to wear all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator.
Excellent communication skills, including listening to customers and determining how to assist them.
Ability to take direction from multiple employees and prioritize work.
Knowledge of automotive systems, tools, and repair processes.
Outstanding attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
Ability to use technical reference materials and manuals in written and online formats.
Ability to communicate technical terms to a non‑technical audience.
Ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety.
Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize.

Work Environment & Physical Demands
Primarily working in an automotive shop environment; may involve various weather conditions such as heat and cold, loud noise, and safety hazards.
May experience loud noise on a regular basis.
Medium/Heavy Work: lift over 50 pounds with assistance device required, or frequent lifting/carrying of objects weighing up to or over 35 pounds with assistance device available.
Standing for prolonged periods; requires ability to push, pull, climb, stoop, kneel, reach, grasp, and walk on a regular basis.
Repetitive motion; requires ability to talk and hear.
Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment; may work in extreme heat or cold.
Schedule Works evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
