Responsibilities As a Broadband Network Specialist you will:
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues on our private and public FTTH fiber optic, wired, and wireless networks.
Perform routine maintenance, cutting, splicing, cutting and terminating fiber optic cables, and performing programming and diagnostics tasks.
Conduct repairs and execute programming and diagnostics tasks to ensure network reliability.
Provide technical support to end‑users, guiding them on network systems and the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of network and fiber optic systems.
Install and configure video surveillance equipment and train users on optimal software and hardware setups.
Qualifications
Knowledge of fiber to the home/premise networks.
Knowledge of local and wide area network management and monitoring.
Knowledge of wireless networks and their diagnostic tools.
Experience with broadband ISP network diagnostics.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks/projects effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for documentation and reporting.
Excellent customer‑service orientation, friendly demeanor, and professional appearance.
Skill in operating job‑related networking and diagnostic equipment.
Must pass a thorough criminal background check due to the sensitivity of the information handled by this position.
