Loan Asset Servicing Associate - Buy Side Firm
Base pay range: $60.00/hr - $85.00/hr Job Function
Process lifecycle activities for various loan types, including syndicated, revolvers, delayed draws, private corporate, and commercial real estate loans, as well as bonds, equities, and derivatives. Manage loan notices related to events such as paydowns, interest, coupons, delayed draws, revolvers, PIK, and cashless rolls. Take full ownership and accountability for assigned processes, ensuring accurate data maintenance, timely processing, and adherence to control standards. Review and action daily reconciliations of cash, positions, and accruals; assist in resolving settlement exceptions. Collaborate with internal partners, including Middle Office, Securities Master, Reconciliation, Business, and Legal teams, to support fund needs and resolve breaks. Liaise with external Trustees, Custodians, Prime Brokers, and Agents to address pending settlements or exception discrepancies. Record restructures, bridge/commitment fees, and loan amendments accurately. Maintain and update process documentation, ensuring controls and calculations are clearly evidenced. Job Requirements
2-5 years of Loan Asset Servicing experience coming from a Hedge Fund, Investment Management firm or related industry. WSO or related experience required. Bachelor's Degree required.
