Partners in Autism
A Behavior Analyst is responsible for conducting assessments, creating Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs), programs, and behavior plans for clients at Partners in Autism. The Behavior Analyst will work closely with the management team to provide supervision, training, and required documentation needed for insurance companies as necessary for the ongoing needs of the facility.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain Partners in Autism’s company culture standards and best practices Create Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs) according to insurance and clinic requirements Create behavior plans as necessary Conduct assessments including VB MAPP, Functional Assessments, etc. Create client programs based on the assessment results and data Ensure that all aspects of a program are followed and meet state compliance guidelines and best practices from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Observe clients face-to-face at regular intervals in order to: Ensure that programs are being implemented correctly by Behavior Technicians/staff Evaluate data to assess client progress and update programs as necessary Ensure consistency of Behavior Technicians/staff and data collection Complete daily progress notes, billing sheets, parent communication notes, and any other required communication in a professional and timely manner Maintain a safe work environment for all clients/staff Adhere to all confidentiality (HIPAA) regulations Actively attend and participate in staff training, meetings, and other events Communicate in a professional and respectful manner with clients/families, Behavior Analysts, Behavior Technicians, and all other staff Respond effectively to crisis situations which may include a client’s physical aggression Perform other related duties as assigned or requested by Director/Owner/Managing Director Requirements
Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis Must be certified with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB); renew every two years Must meet continuing education requirements as outlined by the BACB Must complete all company orientations, Health & Safety Training, and SafetyCare Physical Requirements:
Must be able to do activities as required to work directly with clients, which may include being able to bend, stoop, pull, push, walk, reach, lift, climb stairs, run without assistance, and lift at least 50 lbs. Must also be able to spend long periods of time on the floor with clients.
