Job Description MRI Technologist - Travel - Massachusetts
Overview • Facility Setting: Berkshire Health System • Unit/Department: MRI Department • Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM | Weekends: Yes | Call: Possible
Requirements • License: ARRT (MR) • Certs: BLS (AHA) • Experience: 2 Years • EMR: Meditech Expanse Preferred • Compliance: Must be willing to work weekends and evenings; Must handle on-call duties as needed • Locals: No applicants within 50 miles of the facility will be considered • RTO Policy: Up to 5 days of RTO accepted; must be included at submission
Responsibilities • Operate GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 MRI equipment • Collaborate with another Tech Aide or MRI Tech; will not work solo • Cover on-call duties after midnight as required • Document and verify all requested time off prior to submission • Participate in holiday coverage as needed (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
Notes • 8 hours of non-billable orientation required • Holiday and overtime multipliers at 1.25% • Any/all scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission
