Shartsis Friese is seeking an experienced and practical-minded Counsel to join our Real Estate Department, supporting a dynamic portfolio of commercial leasing transactions. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of complex, high-value leasing matters. The ideal candidate will have 7–10+ years of relevant experience and a strong background in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial lease agreements. The successful candidate will independently manage commercial leasing transactions from initial term negotiations through execution of leases, lease amendments and related documents. This role includes advising clients on commercial leasing matters, identifying and assessing legal risks, and developing practical mitigation strategies. The candidate will also provide legal guidance on landlord‑tenant issues, lease enforcement, and dispute resolution.
The anticipated annual base salary wage range the Firm reasonably expects to pay candidates for this position is $350,000 to $450,000. The final annual base salary wage offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience, education, and other factors. The successful candidate also will be eligible for bonuses based on billable hours.
