Cummings, McClorey, Davis, Acho & Associates PC (CMDA) is a premier, AV rated, multi-state law firm that has been in practice for 60 years. Our Firm is rapidly expanding in California and is actively seeking a highly motivated *Civil Litigation Attorney *with experience handling all aspects of civil litigation. Public entity defense litigation experience is a plus.
Joining CMDA brings the opportunity to work on a variety of cases and projects. The ideal hire can make a tangible impact on the Firms overall success by actively participating in the growth and development of our Riverside office. CMDA offers a formula bonus program and the potential for additional discretionary bonuses for highly productive attorneys.
Remote/hybrid work is common in this office.
*Skills and Educational Requirements:*
* JD from an ABA-Approved law school, with strong academic credentials * Current California Bar admission in good standing * Minimum of two years of practical civil litigation experience required * Ability to independently handle an active caseload, including preparation of pleadings, motions, and briefs; managing discovery; taking and defending depositions; and conducting legal research, analysis, and writing * Outstanding analytical and creative thinking capabilities * Excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills * Ability to handle multiple priorities in a timely and professional manner, along with a commitment to providing clients with exceptional services
