Who you are Who you are:

A political campaign professional, staffer or organizer, or a marketing or advertising professional with experience in political campaigns, advocacy or policy. A sharp, fast-working and organized self-starter with proven ability to manage several simultaneous projects while staying on top of competing deadlines. Highly motivated by a desire to change the world through politics, policy and behavior change. Possesses knowledge of the issues facing California and the Bay Area – and the ability to understand/act on a firehose of data. Creativity is welcomed as we create all types of media for causes and campaigns nationwide. Ability to think strategically in complex political and communications situations. Strong writing skills are required.

is a San Francisco-based, full-service media and communications firm known for our multi-channel advertising campaigns, innovative messaging and effective targeting on behalf of our clients. We work with campaigns, unions, political organizations and companies to develop thoughtful multi-channel media and communications strategies that win. We provide general consulting and create and produce direct mail, websites, email campaigns and the full suite of digital and traditional advertisements.

Responsibilities Work includes managing clients, writing, project management, research, producing media and data work. Day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Project managing time-sensitive deliverables and projects for a range of clients

Managing campaign plans, media plans and timelines

Drafting paid, organic and earned media communications including op/eds, advertisements, press releases, emails, social media posts, direct mail and more

Completing policy, opposition and industry research projects, producing subsequent memos/policy briefs/fact sheets

Managing relationships with clients, vendors and artists to drive projects to completion

Posting social media ads and content and sending mass distribution emails

Helping to produce and supervise design art for flyers, mail, ads, newsletters and other collateral

Requirements

Excellent organization and time management

Strong writing skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills

A sense of urgency and commitment to meeting deadlines

Great attention to detail

Proficient in Google Suite and social media platforms

Advanced knowledge in various messaging and technology platforms, including but not limited to: MyEmma, MailChimp, Switchboard, Outreach Circle and other typical campaign tools

Political campaign, consulting, or media experience is required

Experience with digital and campaign tools such as NGP, PDI and email broadcast platforms is a plus

3+ years of experience (political campaigns, project management, marketing, consulting)
