Senior Product Manager- Novelty & Engraving Job Description Job Summary The

Senior Product Manager

leads product development, portfolio planning, and lifecycle management across the full product portfolio. Key responsibilities include evaluating and prioritizing new product and customer requirements, defining performance specifications, and developing merchandising and POP solutions that support business growth. This role works closely with Engineering, Operations, and Sales to ensure products meet revenue targets, customer expectations, and overall business objectives.

The

Senior Product Manager

also oversees the personalized engraving product line for major customers like Disney, Universal, and Zoo's as examples. The role drives cross‑functional initiatives focused on product innovation, digital growth, and strategic channel development specifically supporting personalized engraving within the Novelty channel.

1. New Product Development

Drive product innovation through the Project Management Office (PMO), leading cross‑functional teams from concept through commercialization.

Partner with Engineering, Design (internal and external), Sales, Marketing, and Licensors to guide product design, development, and launch activities.

Research, develop, and test merchandising and product strategies to enhance consumer engagement and market relevance.

Manage full lifecycle execution for new products and machines, from initial concept through end‑of‑life planning.

Own the product strategy and lifecycle for engraving solutions, with emphasis on the Personalized Engraving product line within the Quick Tag robotics platform.

Monitor product line performance, identify improvement opportunities, and drive strategic enhancements aligned with business goals.

3. Roadmap Ownership

Develop, maintain, and communicate a comprehensive roadmap outlining the strategic vision, milestones, and evolution of all machine‑based product with a focus on Novelty Engraving business, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and market needs.

4. Product Line Development

Forecast, implement, and monitor new and existing product lines to maximize revenue, margin, and overall business performance.

Support collaborative product development through ongoing coordination with cross‑functional stakeholders.

Partner on planogram creation tailored to multiple retail channels and partners.

Support Sales and Channel teams by contributing to customer presentations, line reviews, and new program opportunities with a focus on promotional and merchandising initiatives.

Provide timely communication, issue resolution, and product expertise to Sales and Support teams across the retail network.

Analyze revenue, margin, and market trends to identify growth opportunities and guide strategic decision‑making.

Develop customer‑aligned promotional strategies to drive category performance and strengthen retailer partnerships.

7. Channel Revitalization

Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to refresh and strengthen channel strategies, enhancing product visibility, consumer engagement, and overall retail presence.

Rebuild and strengthen customer relationships within the Novelty specialty retail channel to drive engagement and long‑term growth.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related area preferred or 5 years equivalent experience

Ten years’ experience managing consumer product lines, retail distribution channels or related business analysis preferred

Proficient in Microsoft office software systems. Advanced Excel & Power Point required; Microsoft Project/Teams/Agile and Oracle experience preferred

Experience in developing engineered products with internal and external R&D resources preferred

Experience in developing consumer‑focused product packaging, pricing, positioning, messaging and collateral, demos, presentations, and other sales tools
