The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Sales Director to lead and scale our sales motion across biotech and pharma customers. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and enjoys building and coaching high-performing teams.
Reporting into our SVP Sales, you will manage a distributed team of Account Executives across the US and UK, while being based in New York City. You will play a critical role in driving pipeline growth, closing new business, and developing repeatable sales processes that support Causaly’s continued expansion.
What You’ll Do
Lead & Develop the Team: Manage, coach, and mentor a team of Account Executives across the US and UK.
Own Revenue for Biotech: Drive new customer acquisition across biotech and pharma segments.
Sales Execution: Oversee the full sales cycle from pipeline generation through close.
Process & Playbooks: Build and refine scalable sales processes and playbooks.
Forecasting & Performance Management: Own forecasting accuracy and monitor key performance metrics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams.
Market Feedback Loop: Bring insights from the field back to inform messaging and product direction.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a people manager within a sales organization.
Strong background selling to biotech and pharma mid-market and SMB customers.
Demonstrated success achieving and exceeding team revenue targets.
Experience managing distributed international teams (US and UK preferred).
Strong executive communication and coaching skills.
Data-driven mindset with experience using CRM and pipeline analytics.
Nice to Have
Experience selling technical or data-driven platforms.
Background in a high-growth start-up or scale-up environment.
Exposure to enterprise expansion motions.
