The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP), Central Supply Section is seeking a motivated Stock Clerk 2. If you want to help manage efficient warehouse operations and maintain inventory used to help keep communities safe, then we encourage you to apply today!

As a Stock Clerk 2, you will receive and distribute stock for all Troops and Bureaus of PA State Police. You will fill submitted online requisitions, package and label stock, check that items were safely received, and identify designated delivery locations. You will also record information for entry into the on-line inventory system and ensure items and quantities received agree with vendor packing slips. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail to properly issue and control inventory as well as a genuine desire to support law enforcement staff by optimizing warehouse efficiency. In addition, you will operate PSP vans for supply pick ups and deliveries and use a forklift in the warehouse.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108.00 (before taxes).

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of experience in stockroom, warehouse, or clerical work; and graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements: You must be in possession of a valid Class C driver's license. You must be in possession of a forklift certification. You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements: You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
