Tax & Audit Manager
to their team. Salary: $100k - $150k (commensurate with experience) + Bonus potential. Responsibilities
Lead and manage tax and audit engagements across multiple client industries as a Tax & Audit Manager. Review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations. Oversee audit planning, fieldwork, and financial statement reviews. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, addressing technical accounting and tax matters. Supervise, mentor, and develop staff and senior accountants. Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and firm quality standards. Collaborate with partners on engagement strategy, deadlines, and client deliverables. Required Experience / Skills
5 - 8+ years of public accounting experience with a public-to-public background. Strong tax and audit technical knowledge. Proven experience managing engagements and reviewing staff work. Ability to communicate clearly with clients and internal stakeholders. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Preferred Experience / Skills
CPA or in the final stages of completion. Experience working with middle-market or complex clients. Prior leadership or supervisory experience in public accounting. Exposure to multiple industries (real estate, manufacturing, professional services, etc.). Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required. A CPA license is strongly preferred. Benefits
