Key Responsibilities
Assist with review and analysis of prospective real‑estate debt transactions, including underwriting support and risk assessment.
Support development of debt marketing materials for external distribution.
Assist with the deal execution process from initial marketing through closing, coordinating confidentiality agreements and market feedback tracking.
Track and maintain active deal and maturity pipelines using the Chatham Financial Debt Management tool.
Prepare comprehensive portfolio reports for client presentations and participate in client meetings as needed.
Communicate and coordinate with external counterparties such as lenders, brokers and legal counsel to facilitate deal execution and syndication.
Work collaboratively with Portfolio Managers and regional teams to support business objectives and provide analytical insights.
Support operations of the Debt Fund Leverage Facility.
Other ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills
2–3 years of commercial real‑estate experience.
Excellent communication, organizational, time‑management and presentation skills.
General understanding of real‑estate underwriting.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Excel, ARGUS Enterprise, Word and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial modeling and Co‑Pilot is a plus.
Applicant must have proper work authorization in the U.S. and does not require relocation assistance.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field required; MBA, CFA or equivalent preferred.
Location & Work Requirements Whippany, New Jersey – Hybrid role requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office.
Compensation Salary range: $100,000 – $110,000 per year. Eligible for annual short‑term incentive compensation, stock‑based long‑term incentives, and other benefits per applicable plans.
