Salary Range: $90,000-$120,000
We are seeking a full-time Analyst to support the Capital Markets and Financial Strategies groups at Samuel A. Ramirez & Co., a premier minority‑owned investment bank based in New York City. The Analyst will provide analytical and quantitative support and work closely with senior team members to deliver investment banking services to corporate clients.
Responsibilities:
Assisting in the group’s preparation of research materials and analysis
Build, maintain and analyze financial models
Organizing and assisting the development of client presentations
Requirements:
0-3 years of prior work experience
Strong interest in corporate finance and a sense of entrepreneurship
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Evidence of strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
Strong teamwork orientation and work ethic
Attention to detail and ability to work flexibly
Preferences:
Basic knowledge of Bloomberg and other industry research database is a plus
Experience with Python and/or R
Familiarity with macroeconomics, econometrics or statistical analysis, including time series
