The role: Financial Advisor
Your expertise will support a wide range of clients, from those just starting to save to those with significant wealth. You are responsible for providing an exceptional experience to our clients and guiding them through their financial journey. You share our commitment to understand, care for, and guide financial decisions involving portfolio management, estate planning, tax planning, risk management, charitable giving, and insurance planning. On a typical day, you may meet with clients to discuss their retirement plans, write for our client newsletters or host a webinar with our community partners.
Key responsibilities
Be a key member of our advisory team, providing financial planning and investment advice to our client base.
Work closely with clients to fully understand their financial situation, provide solutions to achieve stated goals and objectives, and guide them through their unique journey.
Conduct financial planning analyses for clients using our software (MoneyGuidePro).
Run reports for clients (using Black Diamond) and document client interactions in our CRM (Wealthbox).
Regularly contribute to our quarterly newsletter and online blog.
Create presentations and host seminars / webinars with our many community partners.

Qualifications
At least 5 years in a Financial Advisor role or equivalent financial services experience
Demonstrated success in client acquisition, cultivating and maintaining client relationships, and integrating with key partners
Demonstrated ability and commitment to goals-based planning and advice
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
A valid and active Series 65 license is required
Certified Financial Planning (CFP®) certification is preferred
Attorney with estate planning experience is a bonus
Bachelor's degree preferred
Must be able to be in-office 3 days / week
