Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

8 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred Qualifications

MBA degree.

10 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory experience, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.

5 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.

Experience in managing, coaching, and developing a team of three or more direct reports in a relevant business.

About the Job The Global Commercial Enablement (GCE) organization serves as the activation engine in Go-to-Market (GTM) for the Global Business Organization (GBO). As the strategic and operational arm for global sales activation, we work to deliver the best of Google's products to sellers and customers through compelling incentives, prioritized activities, and clear, effective processes.

In this role, you will be a key player in improving how our global sales teams execute go-to‑market strategy by translating complex and ambiguous business needs into actionable recommendations. You will become an owner and expert of strategic initiatives that drive growth across our core activation levers from sales incentives and product prioritization to the collateral, training, and tools our sellers use every day. With your investigative and problem‑solving skills, you will understand the opportunities and issues to overcome, collaborate and inspire cross‑functional partners. You will have an opportunity to leverage your stakeholder management skills to help reimagine our sales processes. You will be instrumental in improving the experience for thousands of sellers as they execute our global product strategy.

The Go‑to‑Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever‑evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go‑to‑market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

US base salary range: $180,000‑$267,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary determined by role, level, and location.

Responsibilities

Lead and problem‑solve the GBO's activation engine comprising elements such as a universal product taxonomy, prioritization of ads products and sales motions, and the application of activation levers such as sales incentives, collateral, training, tools.

Build relationships and partner across go‑to‑market, sales, and product organizations to drive cross‑functional alignment.

Provide thought leadership and serve as a subject matter expert related to commercial activation and strategy development topics.

Create and deliver clear communications and presentations, tailored to audience levels, in support of strategic recommendations and implementation considerations based on analyses and research, both quantitative and qualitative.

Work with cross‑functional stakeholders and executive leadership to deliver on project priorities, drive alignment and enable decision making.
