Account Executive — Commercial Lines

Summary This position is for an Account Executive with responsibilities related to client management and retention.
Position Overview The Account Executive will manage a high‑volume book of Commercial Lines Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance business, growing client loyalty through advocacy, excellent service and professional communication.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage a high volume book of Commercial Lines P&C insurance business, ensuring all required tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Build positive client relationships to grow loyalty and provide high advocacy and service.
Handle renewals, service requests, claims, billing, and new policies, including marketing renewal business.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the markets, underwriting guidelines, and submission procedures.
Review all applications, policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy.
Complete loss/claim analysis and summary reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; preferred.
Minimum five years of Commercial Account Management or Commercial Underwriting experience; required.
Property & Casualty license; required.
CIC designation or equivalent; preferred.
Valid driver’s license and insurance; required.
Strong administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with Applied/Epic or similar agency management software; preferred.
Ability to work independently and interact with team members.
Self‑motivated, driven, sense of urgency, meets deadlines.
Effective written and verbal communication, active listening, problem‑solving with minimal assistance.
Multitasking, prioritizing, independent work, discretion with sensitive information.
Maintains a professional demeanor and positive attitude.
