Utility Designer
We are seeking a skilled Utility Designer responsible for designing and drafting utility layouts and specifications for gas and electric distribution.
Responsibilities
Design and draft utility layouts and specifications for gas and electric distribution.
Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather relevant data.
Collaborate with project teams to maintain compliance with utility standards and regulations.
Utilize design software to create detailed project drawings.
Use GPS survey equipment to gather and analyze site data for utility design projects.
Assist in the coordination and implementation of utility construction projects.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in drafting with software such as AutoCAD and MicroStation.
Strong understanding of mechanical and distribution design principles.
Experience with Trimble GPS for data gathering and analysis.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associate's degree in mechanical, drafting, civil, or equivalent field experience.
Experience with gas and electric utilities is preferred.
Work Environment This position requires on-site work from Monday to Friday.
Job Type & Location This is a permanent position based in Appleton, WI.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
