$81,000 - $121,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies for material planning, procurement, and inventory control.
Manage and optimize inventory levels to minimize carrying costs while ensuring material availability for production.
Oversee the entire supply chain process, from raw material sourcing to finished goods delivery.
Collaborate with production, sales, and engineering teams to forecast material requirements and production schedules.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers, monitor vendor performance, and foster strong supplier relationships.
Implement and maintain robust material tracking systems and procedures to ensure accuracy and traceability.
Lead, mentor, and develop the materials management team.
Recommended Qualifications
5+ years of progressive experience in materials management, supply chain, or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory control, planning, and procurement.
Demonstrated expertise in demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and strategic sourcing methodologies.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
Bonus Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
Experience with advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software.
Proven track record in leading ERP/MRP system implementations or major upgrades.
Familiarity with global logistics and international trade compliance.
