Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Role is also eligible for team based bonus opportunities. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Responsibilities

Utilizes a person‑centered approach starting with positive perceptions of aging, while building relationships and connections among residents.

Develops a monthly calendar, in partnership with residents, based on residents’ shared interests.

Collaborates with community leadership team to plan, coordinate, and execute special events at the community including, but not limited to, holiday, family, educational, and other marketing events.

Plans and schedules meaningful opportunities for resident engagement outside the community, which may include driving a community vehicle.

Qualifications Education and Experience A minimum of 1 year of direct experience with adults, coordinating, planning, and executing programs is required. High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) required. Bachelor’s Degree in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, health care, education, or other related field preferred. Leadership experience preferred.

Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special Requirements Must have a valid driver’s license and may be required to obtain a commercial driver’s license based on the needs of the community.

Management/Decision Making Makes standard and routine decisions based on detailed guidelines with use of independent judgment and discretion. Solves problems using clear, detailed guidelines or by reporting them to a supervisor.
