Lead the NA regional procurement for Scent, developing and executing strategies to source a competitive and cost‑effective regional portfolio of materials and services.

As Regional Senior Category Manager Scent NA, you will be responsible for managing materials and services costs and performance across the full portfolio, establishing sourcing strategies, setting strategic objectives and optimizing supplier relationships. You will ensure alignment with IFF business objectives and collaborate globally and regionally to meet business needs. This role requires strong market knowledge and supplier engagement to deliver year‑over‑year savings, improve working capital and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Where You'll Make a Difference
Develop strong sourcing capabilities to deliver successful materials and services regionally.
Maintain connections with internal stakeholders to understand demand and future trends.
Develop regional category strategies utilizing Akiro and maintain accurate spend forecasts.
Implement strategies to deliver cost savings and risk management across assigned categories.
Execute disciplined application of IFF's strategic sourcing methodology, including spend analysis and market intelligence.
Identify and approve new vendors to diversify supply portfolio.
Apply SRM principles to develop supplier partnerships and support growth through innovation.
Ensure compliance with Responsible Sourcing Standards (Ecovadis, SEDEX).
Negotiate master agreements and resolve vendor performance issues.
Coordinate with other regions within IFF.
Drive optimization and continuous improvement in service quality.
Reduce working capital through payment term negotiation and long‑term initiatives.
What Makes You the Right Fit
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science/Engineering, Economics, Business, Supply Chain or equivalent experience.
Over 6 years of experience in chemical procurement and supplier relationship management.
CPSM, SPSM or related certification in supply chain or procurement excellence.
Proficiency in SAP and procurement tools (Zycus, Coupa, Akiro); advanced Excel and data visualization skills.
Strong knowledge of business practices and financial concepts.
Excellent people skills, project management and cross‑functional team experience.
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in English (oral and written).
