Performs diagnostic radiographic, portable, c-arm and fluoroscopic procedures. Reviews patients’ clinical history ensuring that appropriate order placed and labs are within range as needed- reviewing with radiologist as necessary Provides patient education. Selects and operates imaging equipment, image capture devices and accessories to successfully perform procedures. Positions patient to best demonstrate anatomic area of interest, respecting patient ability and comfort. Requirements
Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology One (1) to Three (3) years experience preferred Will consider new graduates ARRT Radiography registration required IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required if working in Illinois WI-DSPS radiographer license required if working in Wisconsin Approved CPR or BLS certification within 90 days Seniority level
