Job Description A well-established construction firm is seeking a diligent, team-focused

Superintendent

to oversee day-to-day field operations and ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project plans and schedules. This role is critical to the successful delivery of projects and requires a strong field leader who can effectively coordinate people, processes, and partners onsite.

Responsibilities

Establish and manage field staffing and onsite support

Oversee and facilitate all day-to-day activities on the project site

Prepare, review, update, and analyze project schedules in coordination with subcontractors, vendors, and the project manager

Communicate schedule updates, changes, and adjustments to all appropriate parties

Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and laborers to meet project schedules and milestones

Develop site-specific safety plans in collaboration with the Safety Manager

Review safety plans monthly with project teams and the Safety Manager as part of the overall safety program

Inspect work in place, including shoring, concrete placement, steel reinforcing, post-tensioning, and other scopes to ensure compliance with project specifications

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite at all times

Travel to project sites as required

Qualifications

Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a lead Superintendent in construction or construction management

Background in one or more of the following markets: Education, Hospitality, Municipal, and Mixed-Use Commercial

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential company matters with professionalism and discretion

Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external partners

Well-developed analytical and problem‑solving abilities

Ability to write reports and business correspondence clearly and accurately

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines

Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general technology aptitude to learn construction management software (Procore, P6, etc.)

Knowledge of multiple construction delivery systems

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

OSHA 30 certification required

First Aid / CPR certification within the past 24 months required
