A leading construction materials operation is seeking a Floating Heavy Equipment Mechanic to support multiple industrial sites throughout the Denver metro area. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of yellow iron equipment, ensuring plant and mobile assets remain operational, safe and compliant. This is a field‑based position requiring travel between locations and the ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with site leadership. Why Join Us?

Perform routine maintenance on heavy equipment to ensure optimal functionality and longevity, including oil changes, filter replacements, and general tune‑ups. Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with heavy equipment, such as engine failures and hydraulic system malfunctions. Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns. Operate hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment, to perform repairs and maintenance. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and time spent. Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including OSHA and MSHA standards. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to service calls and ensuring timely and efficient repairs. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry trends and advancements. Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, focusing on loaders, cranes, excavators, haul trucks, and dozers. Extensive knowledge of heavy equipment operation, maintenance, and repair techniques. Proficiency with hand and power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Solid understanding of OSHA and MSHA safety regulations and procedures. Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, able to explain complex issues clearly. Ability to work physically demanding environments, lift heavy objects, and work in various weather conditions. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary training in heavy equipment repair or related field preferred. Certification as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or equivalent is a plus. Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
