position in Clarksville, IN. This role focuses on working outdoors with a passion for forestry, horticulture, arboriculture, environmental studies, or related fields.
Responsibilities Our Foresters perform identification, inspection, and evaluation of trees and brush along utility lines; submit inspection results to clients with recommendations; plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of assigned tree clearance crews; discuss and negotiate line-clearance crew access issues; serve as a liaison between clients, tree crews, and client customers.
Minimum Requirements
Two- or four-year forestry, Environmental Science, Natural Resources degree or related field OR high school diploma plus two years of UVM experience
Previous vegetation management experience preferred
Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with GIS integrated data collection software/hardware preferred but not required
Self-motivated, organized, production-oriented
Comfortable working independently and managing a geographical area for all vegetation-related activities
Excellent interpersonal skills working with stakeholders, utility customers, and line clearance vendors
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Multi-tasking and strong time management skills
Ability to work in varied terrain and inclement weather with flexible schedules (available nights and weekends as needed)
Valid driver's license
ISA Arborist certification preferred

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to customer contact terms, location, experience, and performance. Other rewards may include paid time off, 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match, ESOP contributions, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and other region-specific benefits as eligible.
Salary Range Transparency: For applicants residing in Indiana, the salary range for this role is from $18,000 to $24,000.
