Responsibilities
Underwrite CRE loan requests including acquisition, refinance, construction, and working capital facilities
Prepare comprehensive credit memorandums for loan committee review, clearly presenting risk, structure, mitigants, and approval rationale
Perform global cash flow analysis and assess guarantor strength
Analyze property-level performance, including DSCR, LTV, NOI sustainability, vacancy trends, and market conditions
Ensure all credit packages comply with regulatory guidance and bank credit policy
Monitor existing loan portfolio and assist with annual reviews, renewals, and covenant compliance
Partner closely with Relationship Managers to structure deals appropriately and proactively mitigate risk
Qualifications
3+ years CRE underwriting or credit analysis experience within a commercial bank or credit union
Strong knowledge of CRE loan structures, credit risk fundamentals, and regulatory lending standards
Advanced Excel skills and strong written credit presentation ability
High attention to detail, judgment, and accountability
