Portfolio Manager – Private Asset Management (Hanover, NH)

Role Overview The TIAA Private Asset Management Portfolio Manager is a senior client‑facing investment professional responsible for overseeing high‑net‑worth (HNW) client portfolios, delivering personalized advice, and ensuring compliant, high‑performance asset allocation.

Key Responsibilities

Build and manage investment portfolios based on market conditions, economic trends, and client objectives.

Recommend portfolio adjustments to grow clients’ net worth, using market and risk analysis.

Execute securities transactions and maintain investment strategies aligned with client goals.

Determine acceptable risk levels with clients considering time horizon, risk preferences, and market conditions.

Evaluate portfolio performance and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including disclosure requirements, privacy laws, AML and anti‑fraud measures.

Maintain & update client relationships; provide market updates, research insights, and discuss portfolio performance.

Collaborate with the team on capital market knowledge, best practices, and investment models.

Support business development, client retention initiatives, and accurate audit & reporting records.

Additional Responsibilities

Obtain required licenses within 120 days of start date.

Qualifications Required

5+ years working directly with wealth‑management clients.

University degree (preferred).

Proficiency in portfolio management, client engagement, and compliance.

Preferred

7+ years of wealth‑management client experience.

CFA or CFP certification.

Additional market expertise and advanced investment analysis skills.

Licensing and Regulatory

FINRA Series 65 required.

Physical Requirements

Sedentary work environment.

Compensation Base salary range: $124,000 – $155,000 per year, plus incentive, benefits, and additional compensation per TIAA policy.
