Salary Range: $58,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Develop, write, and debug CMM inspection programs from CAD models and engineering drawings.
Operate CMM equipment to perform dimensional inspections of complex manufactured parts.
Analyze inspection data, interpret results, and generate comprehensive quality reports.
Validate CMM programs to ensure accuracy, repeatability, and adherence to GD&T specifications.
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve measurement discrepancies and improve part quality.
Perform routine calibration checks and assist with maintenance on CMM machinery and associated equipment.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for CMM programming and inspection processes.
Recommended Qualifications
Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
Strong understanding and application of GD&T principles (ASME Y14.5).
Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D CAD models.
Experience with CAD software for model manipulation and inspection path generation.
Proven experience in a manufacturing quality control or metrology environment.
Aptitude for troubleshooting CMM programs and measurement anomalies.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with alternative inspection technologies (e.g., vision systems, laser scanning, structured light).
Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles and software.
Proficiency in CAD software for modeling, fixture design, or reverse engineering.
Experience with scripting or automation within CMM software or for data analysis.
