Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Multimedia Coordinatorwill utilize videography, photography and animation to conceptualize and createvisual stories that inform and engagekey audiences in support of the college's strategic goals.
Responsibilities Record long and short form video content such asprogrammatic videos, interviews and testimonials. television commercials,special events and other promotional videos for the purposes of enhancing thecollege's reputation and driving enrollment. This includes directing talenton-site, coordinating with crew members, selecting appropriate camera anglesand lighting, and ensuring all visual and audio elements align to produce thehighest-quality final product.
Complete the pre-production process including proposing ideas for video content and the most appropriate format based on audiences and objectives. This includes meeting with internal stakeholders to discuss the goals and project requirements, and developing and maintaining a production schedule to ensure deadlines are met.
Complete all projects in post-production. This includes editing video and audio footage, creating and inserting graphics, adding music or sound effects, and distributing the content to the appropriatechannels and stakeholders. This also includes ensuring that the video elements are on-brand, formatted for various media platforms, and archived appropriately.
Capture photos of college events, activities and programs, along with planning and executing staged photoshoots. Process, edit, distribute, keyword, and archive the images.
Responsible for remaining current on trends within the industry and bringing those trends to the college. This includes an understanding of YouTube, along with Tik Tok, Instagram, and other platforms.
Utilize industry animation tools to create animated videos from concept to final product.
In collaboration with the college's IT Department, assist in the live-streaming of college events
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field required or Associate degree in Multimedia Production, Film, Digital Media, or Marketing plus a minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience required.
A minimum of two (2) years of professional videography and photography experience is required.
Experience in a marketing department or agency environment is a plus.
Experience with photography as well as videography required.
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite required, with an emphasis on Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects. Knowledge of DaVinci a plus.

Strong understanding of output specifications (file formats, aspect ratios, compression settings, color profiles) for web, social media, and print.
