Position Overview The Account Manager serves as the primary liaison between customers and internal departments, ensuring a seamless, accurate, and timely experience throughout the sales and order lifecycle. This role is critical in identifying project opportunities, delivering tailored quoting solutions, managing submittals and releases, and upholding Armorock’s commitment to exceptional service and communication.
Core Responsibilities
Lead identification & market research: conduct platform searches, monitor CIP projects, evaluate developer projects, and interface with contractors, municipalities, and engineers.
Quote preparation & issuance: use internal platforms, collaborate with estimating and project management teams to verify feasibility, and manage revisions, engineering calculations, and redlines.
Order release & fulfillment: transition from quote to release, coordinate internal departments, and verify documentation (POs, drawings, job codes).
Secondary support: provide sales manager support at trade shows, customer visits, and job site visits.
CRM management: log daily activities, build and maintain account pages, manage opportunity pipeline, and build task pipeline.
Continuous process improvement: provide weekly feedback to sales managers, quarterly updates to management, and participate in daily huddles and committee meetings.
Leadership core competencies: analytical thinking, problem‑solving, communication, project management, strategic thinking, detail orientation, proactive initiative, technological savvy.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred but not required.
Local day trips as needed.
Office environment; computer, phone; no major lifting; sit 50% of time.
