The

Development Specialist

is an incredible opportunity to join JM&A Group. The purpose of this role is to develop the next generation of top talent for JM&A. The Development Specialist will have the opportunity to grow their skills under the guidance of a Lead Specialist, getting exposure to a large variety of environments by training in our dealer partner locations across the country and within the corporate office. The expectation is for the Development Specialist to be ready for promotion into multiple career paths within 12 months of their start date. Prior to promotion, the Development Specialist is a salaried position and pays $65,000 annually.

Responsibilities

Provide hands‑on individual training to our dealer partners

Foster relationships with our dealer partners through the JM&A value proposition

Proactively manage professional development and adapt through constructive feedback

Show agility in navigating and excelling within a high‑paced work environment

Qualifications

Highly motivated self‑starter

Automotive retail sales experience

Persistent and resilient—handles objections and rejections well

Executive presence—exhibits comfort, curiosity, and poise when engaging with any level of leadership

Versatility in tailoring communication to diverse audiences with emotional intelligence

Capacity to shape outcomes through non‑authoritative means

Willing and able to travel 100% nationwide

Willingness to work non‑traditional hours to meet business needs

Open to relocate upon promotion

The pay grade for this position is 49,141–109,215. Base pay is determined by factors including candidate experience and qualifications, education and work location.
