Location: Neenah – Cold Spring Facility, Full time, Employee.
Work Summary You will lead the design, development, optimization, problem solving, and operation of assigned assets and processes, driving continuous improvement and reliability while ensuring safety and performance expectations.
In This Role, You Will
Develop and deliver equipment and processes that meet safety requirements, policies, and guidelines, ensuring the safety and well‑being of operators and maintenance personnel.
Manage medium‑to‑large initiatives to improve asset performance or plant systems; lead major breakthrough projects solving high‑level problems.
Identify cost savings opportunities and manage expenses within the asset budget.
Apply engineering principles, scientific analysis, LEAN principles, and project management to lead applications.
Root‑cause complex technical issues to achieve objectives.
Create knowledge‑transfer documentation and participate in the development of others in the area of expertise.
Support maintenance personnel when troubleshooting complex issues.
Document issues and opportunities with existing equipment.
Lead a safety work team.
Partner with maintenance on reliability projects.
Assist in developing and managing strategic obsolescence replacement plans.
Help plan and prepare trials.
On‑call support and potential shift coverage for assets using engineering knowledge.
Contribute to plant expense and capital plans.
Align proposed changes with the 5‑year vision; support design, sizing, installation, and commissioning.
Coordinate with utilities/facilities teams to manage operational changes.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
At least 3 years of industrial experience in technical or operational roles within high‑speed consumer product manufacturing or a staff environment.
Demonstrated ability to work in cross‑functional teams to achieve objectives within required timeframes.
Ability to travel up to 15 %.
Preferred Qualifications
Extensive knowledge of tissue‑making production equipment, materials, and processes.
Strong written and verbal presentation skills to leadership.
Multiple years of experience in plant manufacturing, staff support, and capital project assignments, including maintenance, utilities, and asset support.
Experience working with external technical service providers.
Familiarity with high‑speed manufacturing equipment machine startups.
Experience with Kimberly‑Clark engineering procedures and processes.
