Overview
Rothe Development Inc is seeking a Cybersecurity Risk Vulnerability Analyst II to join our security control assessment, vulnerability assessment, software assurance, and risk assessment teams supporting our Nation’s ballistic missile defense program. This individual will perform research, analysis, and data gathering activities while conducting threat, vulnerability, and capability maturity assessments. The individual will be expected to apply critical thinking, conduct gap analyses, and develop implementation plans for the improvement of cybersecurity in large, complex defense systems. Responsibilities
Perform data gathering, research, and analysis while conducting threat, vulnerability, risk, and maturity assessments. Apply critical thinking, conduct gap analyses, and develop implementation plans for the improvement of the risk management-related program and contribute to constant innovation and improvement. Work under general supervision and usually report to a supervisor; demonstrate ingenuity and flexibility as required. Possess the capability to execute Cybersecurity Vulnerability Assessment, Cybersecurity Software Assurance Assessment, Cybersecurity Risk Assessment, or Cybersecurity Posture Baseline Assessment tasks. Support key cybersecurity activities including vulnerability assessments, control development, security plan documentation, penetration testing, and the RMF. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. 5+ years of cybersecurity-field experience. Secret Security Clearance required. Functional responsibility includes data gathering, research, and analysis while conducting threat, vulnerability, risk, and maturity assessments; ability to conduct gap analyses and develop implementation plans; must be able to work under general supervision. Capable of executing Cybersecurity Vulnerability Assessment, Cybersecurity Software Assurance Assessment, Cybersecurity Risk Assessment, or Cybersecurity Posture Baseline Assessment tasks. DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II prior to accepting position - no exceptions. Cybersecurity certifications such as CCNA-Security, Security+ CE, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CISSP, or CISSP-ISSMP. Active DoD Clearance Required. Experience supporting vulnerability assessments, control development, security plan documentation, penetration testing, and RMF. Familiarity with cybersecurity tools such as Nessus, Burp Suite, Nmap, ACAS, and others. Salary and Benefits
