OVERVIEW Propel, an Alera Group company, is looking for a Property and Casualty Account Manager. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our GO Team! The GO Team's mission is to provide exceptional support and maintain operational excellence within Propel’s Commercial Department by seamlessly integrating into various roles. This includes covering eligible staff absences and managing overflow, ensuring continuity, and superior service for all clients.

The GO Team can step into a variety of Commercial P&C roles, depending on the needs of the department. This may include handling client communications, managing renewals, covering administrative tasks, or any other function critical to maintaining service levels.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage Service Requests:

Handle pre-renewals/renewals, complete Acord applications, submit to carriers, and analyze quotations.

Client Support:

Prepare proposals, summaries, binders, invoices, and certificates; review endorsements, policies, and audits for accuracy.

Compliance & Contracts:

Conduct contract reviews, resolve COI compliance issues, order endorsements, and ensure insurance requirements are met.

System & Workflow Management:

Use internal systems to track and prioritize workload; follow up professionally with clients and carriers.

Collaboration & Meetings:

Participate in renewal meetings and coordinate with producers and account managers.

Training & Development:

Complete certifications and training; assist with mentoring Account Assistants as needed.

Carrier & Industry Knowledge:

Stay up to date on carrier underwriting guidelines and perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of insurance experience

1+ years at the Account Manager level preferred

Applicable state Property & Casualty (P&C) Agent’s License

Industry-related certifications expected

College degree preferred, or equivalent experience

Hourly range is $26 to $35 per hour.
