Director of Sales & Marketing.
Position Summary The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives, relationship management, and market development for our luxury resort property. This role requires a proven track record in hospitality sales, with a strong emphasis on resort experience and the ability to lead high-value accounts and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across all market segments.
Manage and grow key accounts, ensuring long-term relationships and repeat business.
Identify new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and market analysis.
Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and contracts to clients.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust strategies accordingly.
Represent the resort at industry trade shows, networking events, and client meetings.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and performance metrics in CRM systems.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 3 years in a resort environment.
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive market.
Strong knowledge of resort operations, luxury travel trends, and group sales dynamics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business, or related field preferred.
Preferred Skills
Experience with luxury or upscale resort brands.
Established network of meeting planners and corporate clients.
Familiarity with revenue management principles and distribution channels.
Delphi, Meeting Broker, and Cvent knowledge.
