What you’ll do as a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) - Hospice

Assisting patients with personal care, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting

Administering medication and monitoring vital signs as directed by the hospice nurse

Providing light housekeeping duties, including meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up patient areas

Providing companionship and emotional support to patients and their families

Observing and reporting changes in patients' health status to the hospice nurse

To be a success as a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) - Hospice

1+ years Hospice Experience required

High school diploma or GED

Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide training program

Current certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) in the state of CA

Prior experience working with hospice patients preferred

Ability to provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients and their families

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
