Hyatt Hotels Corporation
Director of Sales & Marketing
Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Thompson Ridge, New York, United States
When you work in Hawaii, in addition to learning about the functional aspects of running a hotel — like the proper way to make a bed or how to best handle luggage — it’s critically important to understand Hawaiian culture and the spirit of ‘ohana, or ‘family.’ When opening the first Andaz property in Hawaii, our team participated in Hawaiian culture training to help us understand what ‘ohana truly means.
As the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will be responsible for planning and executing commercial strategies, leading the Sales & Marketing team, ensuring an exceptional customer experience, and actively contributing to the hotel’s financial goals.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the Sales & Marketing team, fostering professional development, collaboration, and achievement of individual and group goals. Collaborate with the General Manager in developing short-, medium-, and long-term commercial plans at both local and international levels. Ensure excellence in post-sale service by overseeing processes and maintaining ongoing customer satisfaction. Monitor and ensure compliance with the hotel’s communication and customer service standards. Analyze performance results and present reports to the General Management and property owners.
